Drug Testing Exercise

Drug Testing Exercise

Khirana Healthcare is committed to providing technical support for schools, institutions and organisations/companies in their efforts to ensure that students, staff/employees are in good state of mind and body as they deal will the rigors of their academic or work endeavours. So far, we have worked with several schools to adopt Drug Testing Policies, which form part of a a mental health fitness check at the beginning of each academic session. These policies are often subject to modifications made on the basis of emerging trends, legal considerations, or feedback from stakeholders. They are also proactive measures to address substance misuse and contribute to the overall success and safety of school communities.

Positive test results are addressed through a tiered approach involving counseling, parental involvement, and informed referral to structured treatment programmes. We have worked with over 5 schools and institutions to implement drug testing policies, and have tested over 2000, individuals. Support, consent and confidentiality are the hallmarks of our implementation protocol.

Khirana healthcare and Social enterprise is an organization with an ambitious mission: to positively impact the lives of individuals in Sub-Saharan Africa affected by drugs and associated problems.
